Scatterplot with animation at loading





This example illustrates how to make data points appear progressively on a chart. It uses a scatterplot as an example. See more about interactivity and scatterplots. This example works with d3.js v4 and v6


Scatterplot section

Steps:

  • Follows the previous basic scatterplot.

  • Show how to update an axis and data points.

  • For data points, note that a different delay is applied to each circle. This is possible thanks to the expression function(d,i) where i is the id of the datapoint.
